Peewee Quebec Tryout

Following many years of effort, North Park Hockey Association, Inc. is very grateful to announce that starting in 2027, our 12U PeeWee teams will have the annual option of traveling to Quebec for their very special tournaments, including the Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec and the Tournoi International PeeWee B.S.R. We are also pleased to announce that in 2027 our intention is to field a team for the Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec.

We are excited to share these early details regarding the 2027 Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec, projected to take place on or around February 10–21, 2027.

This tournament is considered one of the premier hockey experiences in the world, youth or otherwise, and we are committed to building a program that is competitive, transparent, and aligned with our standards, including the values of our organization. The Quebec experience is a terrific opportunity for character development for our 12U skaters and their families.

Tryout Structure & Roster Selection

To identify and finalize our roster for the 67th edition of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, we intend to hold internal program tryouts (NYC Hockey Club + North Park) at $0 cost.

Tryout Schedule:

  • Primary Tryout: Wednesday, May 13th at 7:00 PM at World Ice Arena
  • Supplemental Tryout: Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00 PM at World Ice Arena

Players from the current NYC Hockey Club 2014 team will have the right of refusal for a roster spot, with the expectation that the roster will be primarily filled by this team. A minimum of three (3) roster positions will be reserved for North Park Hockey players to ensure broader program representation and opportunity.

Following the initial tryouts and assessment from the panel of our professional coaches, North Park’s Executive Committee will review the player pool and determine whether additional supplemental sessions are needed to complete the roster. If necessary, this process may expand to include players beyond the North Park program.

Participation in tryouts is expected for all players who wish to be considered for the final roster.
