NYC Hockey Club Advances to Quarterfinals in Quebec BSR Tournament
The New York City Hockey Club 2013 AAA team is proudly representing the program — and our city — in Quebec at the 49th Annual BSR Tournament. This year’s event features 110 teams and over 2,200 players from seven countries: Canada, South Korea, France, the United States, Hungary, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
The team is 1–1 in tournament play after an exciting 3–2 victory yesterday over ANNECY (France), eliminating the French club. In their opener, NYC Hockey Club suffered a heartbreaking 4–3 overtime loss to the East Beavers (New Brunswick).
Including exhibition games, the team is now 6-2 overall, having faced two European teams and three Canadian teams, providing a true international hockey experience. Additionally, the team defeated Team Doritos and AHF Selects before arriving in Quebec.
Next up is a rematch of last year’s championship game. In 2025, the NYC Hockey Club 2012 AAA team captured the 48th Annual BSR title with a 4–2 win. Tonight (Friday), they face Suisse-SD Academy (Switzerland) at 5:05 PM. You can watch live here: Quebec BSR LiveStream
To claim the 2026 Quebec BSR Championship, the team will need to win three more games — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are incredibly proud of how they are representing North Park on the international stage.
