NORTH PARK ALUM NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR IN FIRST NCAA SEASON
North Park alumna Alison Giebler began her hockey journey with us as a mite and quickly became a standout player. Her passion for the game continued to grow throughout her youth career, earning selections to the NYSAHA Summer Development Camp from 2017 to 2022 and the USA Hockey Multi-District Camp in 2022.
Alison went on to play four seasons of varsity hockey at Choate Rosemary Hall, where she helped lead her team to back-to-back New England District Championships in 2022–'23 and 2023–'24, and competed at USA Hockey Nationals in both years.
Her strong performance and dedication to both academics and athletics earned her recruitment offers from both Division I and Division III programs. With a focus on pursuing a career in medicine, Alison chose to play for the prestigious Middlebury College Women’s Ice Hockey team. She just completed her first season with the Panthers, where she made an immediate impact – earning the title of “Rookie of the Year” after a fantastic debut.
We’re especially excited to welcome Alison back this coming Wednesday, when she’ll join us as a visiting coach for our 14U/16U Tier II Girls Clinic. We’re proud to celebrate her accomplishments and thrilled that she continues to inspire the next generation of North Park players – on and off the ice!
