NYC Hockey Club 2011 AAA takes 2nd Place at Doritos Spring Tournament

In their first tournament together as a team, the NYC Hockey Club 2011 AAA came up just short in the Doritos Tournament Final. After posting three consecutive wins in pool play over CT Oil Kings (3-1), CT Beast (6-0) and Hockey Club Elite (8-2) the team entered the semifinals as the top seed. In the semifinals versus the CT Oil Kings an early contest ended in a blowout 6-0 win for NYCHC. The Mighty Irish (also undefeated) stood in the way for NYCHC in the Championship game.  In a highly competitive back and forth contest the championship was ultimately decided in overtime with the Mighty Irish coming out on top 4-3.
