North Park in India

Over the summer of 2022, North Park was part of a global equipment drive, contributing several hockey bags worth of helpful items formerly in storage.  The initiative, led by former North Park parent coach Rick Lipsey and his family, supports the growth of hockey in Ladakh in Kashmir, historically the subject of territorial dispute between India, Pakistan and China.  The gear was distributed to youth hockey players in villages throughout Ladakh.  In particular, the equipment was greatly appreciated by the Ladakh Women Ice Hockey Foundation (LWIHF).
